Lovense Flexer Review – My Views on This Fingering Panty Vibrator

Last Updated on September 4, 2024 by Kelly

Lovense has many fantastic toys that you may want to try. This review will look at the Lovense Flexer, which is perfect for G-spot stimulation.

I know first-hand how tough it can be to get a G-spot vibrator that hits you just right. The Flexer may be the definitive one if you’re picky like me.

So let’s look at what the Lovense Flexer is and what it can offer you. I’m as eager as you are to see what it can do!

What is the Lovense Flexer?

The Lovense Flexer is a smart G-spot panty vibrator. A lot of terms, I know. You can wear the Flexer in your panties and control it with an app.

Besides its powerful motor, which can hit your delicate parts, it also moves in a come hither motion to simulate fingering

It’s an ambitious little toy from Lovense. But is it good? Let me answer that question by first looking at its features.

Main Features of the Lovense Flexer

The Flexer has several notable features, including:

Three Powerful Motors

With the Flexer, you can control three motors independently. You choose between the clitoral, G-Spot, or come-hither motors.

More on what come-hither means in a bit if you’re confused.

Each motor delivers some powerful vibrations that will make you melt. However, some reviewers pointed out that these motors are loud!

So if you’re going to use this toy publicly, think twice.

Hands-Free

The Flexer is designed to be hands-free, staying inside of you without the need for your hands! Your panties are all it needs to stay put.

However, how hands-free it is in practice may depend on your anatomy.

Come-Hither Movements

In case you didn’t know, come-hither is a sexual hand gesture. The movement involves raising an index and middle finger like telling someone to come closer.

When you activate this motor, the Flexer simulates fingering without needing an extra hand.

IPX7 Waterproof

Do you have a WAP? No worries! The Flexer is IPX7 waterproof. This rating means the toy can be submerged in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes.

Use the Flexer in the bath, shower, or even during a storm. Also, cleaning the Flexer is a breeze!

No worrying about getting water in the wrong crevices.

Remote App Controlled

Like all Lovense toys, the Flexer uses the Lovense Remote app. This app lets you sync to the toy via Bluetooth.

The app allows you to control the Flexer from a short or long distance. Its long-distance features also include discreet video and audio chatting.

Create your own patterns, or download others. Set the toy to have sound activation.

Perhaps the most well-known feature of any Lovense toy is its ability to sync to music. The app can access your music library and then vibrate to the beat of any song you have on there.

The options are limitless, and I’m here for that!

Lovense Flexer Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Strong vibrations.
  • Waterproof.
  • The app can sync to music and control the toy from long distances.
  • Come-hither motion simulates fingering.

Cons

  • It’s loud!
  • Not adjustable for diverse body types.
  • It did not stay inside on its own for too long.

What Are The Noise Levels Like?

I’ll be honest: it’s loud! It almost sounds like someone chainsawing wood in the distance when it moves in the come-hither motion.

Even on the milder settings, you are going to hear it! If you’re home alone or with a partner, this may not matter too much.

But if you have a roommate or family, or like some public pleasure, the Flexer may throw a wrench in your plans.

It’s not something you should wear in public unless you like the humiliation and risk of getting in trouble!

What is the Battery Life & Charging?

The battery has 1.5-2 hours of continuous use on a full charge. On standby mode, the toy will last much longer.

To recharge, you use a magnetic USB cable. With any toy, the battery life will depend on its settings and several other factors.

For the product offered, the battery life is generally good. The Flexer has three motors, so it’s not going to be the greatest battery life.

But it’s enough to help you reach orgasm. That said, I would recommend charging the Flexer before every use. It’s not a toy that gives you much enjoyment if it’s only halfway charged.

How to Use Flexer

The Flexer includes a manual to get you started, but if you need a little extra help, I can assist! Here’s how to use the Flexer.

First Things First, Charge the Flexer!

The Flexer may have come pre-charged, but its battery life may be a little low. Use the magnetic USB cord to charge the battery life up to 100.

To do this, plug the USB into any port.

Then, align the charging cord’s magnetic pins to the pins on the Flexer. The Flexer’s pins are located by the charge button.

When charging the Flexer, do not use it. It should take around 70 minutes to charge fully on a depleted battery.

You will know when it’s charged when the red indicator light turns off.

Turn it On and Sync

First, download the Lovense Remote app, if you haven’t done so already. If you have downloaded the app but haven’t used it in a while, update it if applicable.

Now, hold down the on button for 3-5 seconds. It should vibrate and a light should turn on.

Now, open the app. There, click the chain link icon, then the + icon. You should see the Flexer as an option. Tap it to sync the Flexer to your phone.

From there, controlling the Flexer’s movements is easy!

What Lube Do I Use?

As mentioned, the Flexer is a silicone toy. Silicone lubes are not recommended, as these can damage silicone toys.

Avoid oil-based lubes, too. Always use water-based lubes, and re-apply as needed.

How to Clean & Care for the Flexer

You should always clean your Flexer before and after using it. The Flexer is a silicone toy, meaning that it’s simple to clean.

Mild soap and warm water work well enough. The Flexer is IPX7 waterproof, so don’t be afraid to get it wet!

If you’re in a rush, you can also mist it with a sex toy cleaner, which will kill any bacteria. Once cleaned, dry the Flexer. You can let it air dry, or or use a cloth.

Once you’ve cleaned and dried the Flexer, put it in the included storage bag, and store it in a cool, dry place.

The bag will prevent the Flexer from fusing to your other silicone toys, and also keep any contaminants from landing on it.

Every six months, be sure to recharge the toy.

To care for the Flexer, also be sure to update the app whenever possible. Updating the app can add more features, improve performance, and reduce glitches.

Yes, updating apps is a hassle, but just do it whenever you see an update.

My Experience Using Flexer

With that all said, what do I think about using the Flexer?

As you may have expected, I was excited to try it out! Sometimes, I want an orgasm and don’t feel like using my fingers.

Or, my fingers are busy right now. And when it comes to a partner, well, results may vary.

Like all Lovense toys, I have little issues setting up the toy and charging it. The magnetic charging cable stayed on the Flexer quite well.

Syncing the Lovense Flexer to the app was also simple as pie. Like any Lovense toys, there are the occasional hiccups with staying synched, but they don’t happen often.

Lovense has worked hard to iron out those bugs.

I talked about the nose level earlier, but it’s worth talking about again, because wow is it loud. It almost jump-scared me when I first turned it on.

I understand that vibrating toys make noise, but did anyone in R&D think to make it quieter?

This toy is one you’re supposed to wear, opening up the idea of public use. But when everyone in a mile-long radius can hear it, why would you take that risk?

Now, let’s talk about the biggest appeal of this toy: simultaneous clitoral pleasure and G-spot pressure.

For some reason, the folks at Lovense think that all vaginas are equal and there’s no need to make the Flexer adjustable.

Depending on how you’re built down there, you may love this toy, or you may think that it’s a medieval torture device.

One issue is that the external arm will have more movement than the G-spot arm. This wasn’t a huge issue for me, but some reviewers found it extremely uncomfortable.

I did manage to get a few big O’s out of it, but I wasn’t too impressed. It wasn’t painful, but I found it not as comfortable as I think Lovense thought it would be.

Also, the Flexer doesn’t stay in! I tried to get it to stay in as I went about my day, and it fell out so many times! Lovense has made some great toys that are secure, so this fact was disappointing.

Again, this may depend on how your body is structured. Some people may have better fits than others.

So, what about you? Should you get it? If the site you’re purchasing the toy from has a refund policy, then it’s worth a shot.

But since it’s, well, a sex toy, it can be difficult to get a refund. Also, Lovense toys are expensive.

If the Flexer doesn’t work for you, and you can’t get your money back, you’ve taken quite a financial hit if you make as much money as the average person.

I think the Flexer is a toy that should have spent a little more time in the kitchen before release.

Hopefully, Lovense will release a Flexer 2 with more adjustability options and put a sock in the motors. There’s good potential here, but it’s not quite there yet.

Flexer vs. Lovense Lush 3

In my experience section, I mentioned that future releases of the Flexer could give us better results.

The Lush 3 is a great example of a toy with several kinks ironed out, making it a great toy.

I have already done a post comparing the Flexer to the Lush 3 which goes into a fair bit of detail.

However, if you want a brief overview see below.

The Purpose

Both toys have a different purpose, but share similarities. Both are designed to be hands-free vibrators.

The Lush 3 focuses on your G-spot, while the Flexer stimulates your clit and G-spot. The Lush 3 vibrates, and the Flexer moves in a fingering, “Come-hither” motion.

Vibration Strength

The Lush 3 is much stronger with its vibrations. While the Flexer isn’t anything to scoff at, you feel the Lush 3.

One reason for this is because the Flexer has multiple motors, while the Lush has one that it can make great.

Vibration Sound

The Lush 3 is quiet. The loudest it gets is 43 DB, which is around the loudness of a quiet office, or a refrigerator. In other words, it’s easier to use it discreetly.

The Flexer doesn’t list its DB levels on the website, and reviewers from sound folk are all over the place. Some have put it in the 50s, which is on the level of moderate rainfall.

Others have measured it to be in the 70s. Think vacuum cleaners! I think it’s in-between, being as loud as a dishwasher. People will hear it!

Comfort and Fit

The Lush 3 makes you feel full, with its bulbous head fitting inside of you snugly. But it never feels uncomfortable. Meanwhile, the Flexer’s design can make folks feel quite uncomfortable.

As for fit, the Lush 3 stays inside of you. You can easily go about your daily life, and the toy will stay snug inside you.

But the Flexer keeps falling out. When you’re trying to be discreet, this is the last thing you want.

With that said, I should mention that your mileage may vary depending on your anatomy. In general, though, the Lush 3 has a better track record with one size fitting most.

Battery Life

The Lush 3 lasts up to an hour longer than the Flexer. Of course, battery life is hard to measure, as it depends on vibration intensity and other factors.

With multiple motors and arms, it’s understandable that the Flexer’s battery life isn’t as good.

However, the battery life isn’t that bad.

Similarities

The Lush 3 and the Flexer have several similarities. First, both toys are IPX7 waterproof, meaning they can be submerged for a long time without damaging them.

These toys also use the same app, so they have the same features. Both can be controlled from long distances, sync to music, and can be paired.

In Conclusion

In general, the Lush 3 is the better crowd-pleaser, and there’s a reason for this. The Lush 3 has had three generations to perfect itself, while the Flexer is still the first generation.

Some folks may have a good experience, but there’s a lot of work that needs to be done. If you purchase the Flexer, consider yourself an early adopter.
