This week, I’m pitting two more Lovense toys against each other. It almost feels like a tournament of champions, doesn’t it?
The most titillating tournament you’ve ever witnessed! All jokes aside,
I like comparing Lovense toys because that brand is expensive. People often only have the budget for just one toy.
Also, while Lovense has had some hits, they have plenty of misses. They’re always experimenting, which is awesome.
But sometimes, the result is not all there and needs another generation or two to reach greatness.
So today, I’m comparing the Lovense Flexer with the Lovense Ferri. Which is better? I’m here to find out.
Contents
Brief Overview of The Lovense Flexer
The Flexer is a clitoral vibrator that utilizes three motors. One motor targets the clitoris. The other targets the G-spot. Are you with me so far?
Okay, well, the third motor is a little more unique. The motor makes the toy move in a “come hither” motion. That motion is a fingering technique that will drive you wild.
The Flexer is an ambitious toy by Lovense, but some reviewers say it’s a jack-of-all-trades. Other complaints center around its noise level and being underpowered.
Others feel it’s uncomfortable and hard to keep inside of you. Spoiler: I feel the same way.
Pros
- Three modes to choose from
- Unique come-hither motions
- Stellar app support
Cons
- Noisy
- Uncomfortable
Brief Overview of The Lovense Ferri
The Lovense Ferri is a panty vibrator designed to target the clitoris. This toy is for folks who want stimulation while out in public.
The toy is designed to stay in your panties through its magnetic clip. Through the Lovense app, your partner can control the vibrations, whether near or far away.
While it’s a great toy for clitoral stimulation, some folks who are less sensitive feel like it’s not good enough, while others have had issues with the magnetic charger.
Spoiler again: I think it’s pretty solid.
Pros
- Wearable all day long.
- Good battery life.
- It’s quiet enough for most settings.
Cons
- The charger can be finicky.
- Some may want a little more power.
Comparison of the Features
Noise Levels
Both toys are marketed around fitting inside you, opening the door for public play. But if you want that, you need a quiet toy.
Today’s toys are all over the place. Some sound like a jackhammer in the middle of the night, while others are as quiet as a bunny rabbit hopping through a field.
The Flexer isn’t it. It’s loud!
Even on its quietest settings, the people around you will hear it.
Maybe if you’re in the front row of a concert, it’ll be discreet. Otherwise, you want to keep this one closer to home.
And make sure that no roommates are awake!
I could be the last person on earth and still worry that someone would hear me using this toy!
The Ferri is much quieter, though it’s not perfect. It still makes some noise, but as long as you’re in an area with ambient sounds, like a busy city or a bar, no one is going to hear it.
I wouldn’t recommend taking it to a library, though. But if there’s any life to the place, no one will hear unless they have Superman-level hearing!
Winner: Ferri
Waterproof Levels
When things get wet back there and you need a bucket and a mop, you don’t want your toy to short-circuit!
And when it’s clean-up time, you don’t want to walk on eggshells just to get your toy clean!
Luckily, both toys have IPX7 waterproof levels. This means you can submerge both of them in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes.
In other words, both toys can be used for bathtime fun, and you can easily clean them no problem.
I tested both to make sure, and yes, both function in water no problem! And thank goodness, because I wouldn’t want to explain that to customer support!
Winner: Tie
Battery Life
The last thing you want is for your battery to go out when you’re about to reach that big “O.”
Being a vibrator you’ll use in public, the Ferri has a great battery life with up to 195 minutes of playtime. That’s over three hours!
Meanwhile, the Flexer is up to 120 minutes or two hours. I understand that a toy with three motors and more functions is going to lower battery life, so I’m not too mad.
But I did find the Flexer to be more inconsistent.
Sometimes, I could get nearly two hours. But when I changed the settings slightly, I’d get 90 minutes. Meanwhile, the Ferri was a little better with this, being more consistent.
Also, both toys use the USB magnetic charger. The charger will snap on, filling it with energy!
While both use the same kind of charger, I feel the design of the Flexer makes it slightly easier to charge.
But the Ferri wasn’t that bad. I just rolled it a bit till I found the perfect spot, and that was that.
Winner: Ferri
Wearability
Both toys claim to be easy to keep inside of you, but one does it well while the other fails.
The Flexer does not stay inside of me! I put it in, and it seems snug, and then I walk around and it falls out.
I do not dare wear this out in public! Imagine it falling out of my dress when there are people around!
Meanwhile, the Ferri uses a magnetic piece to keep it secured to your body. This piece fits much better, letting me walk around with no worries.
I feel pretty secure wearing it, even on a crowded train where folks are bumping into me.
Winner: Ferri
App Control
Now, let’s talk about app control. Both apps use the Lovense Remote app, so both work equally as well.
As long as you have the app updated and the toy paired to your phone, it’s so simple to control it!
The app has two methods of control: short and long-distance.
Short-distance control lets you change the intensity, download patterns, and play MP3s that let the toy sync to the vibrations!
Long-distance control lets a partner on the other side of the globe control the movements.
The app also has features that make communication a breeze.
With the app, you can video chat, text, and call each other while controlling the vibrators! Good stuff! I imagine this makes the long-distance heartache a bit better, and sexier too.
So yes, both toys utilize the app control to the best of their ability. For that, I can’t say one is better than the other.
Winner: Tie
The Main Gimmick
Finally, we compare the main gimmick the toys offer.
The Ferri’s main gimmick is that it’s a wearable panty vibrator. And by that standard, it has understood its assignment.
The magnetic clip means it will stay on you no matter what, which I like. The vibrations are decently strong, and it’s quiet enough to be discreet, depending on what location you’re in.
Meanwhile, the Flexer is a 3-in-1 that’s a little… eh. I feel like there were too many cooks here. If they spent time focusing on the “Come hither” gimmick,” it could have been good.
But I feel pain more than pleasure when I use the Flexer, and that’s a shame.
So yes, the Ferri wins. It delivers what’s promised, while the Flexer falls short.
Winner: Ferri
Lush 3 vs Flexer
I have an entire article about the Lush 3 vs. the Flexer, so if you want to, you can go there and check out what I have to say. But if you’re in a hurry, here’s the tl;dr.
I found the Lush 3 to be the better of the two. I know, poor little Flexer.
The Lush 3, being the third generation, has had much more time to iron out its kinks and deliver a toy that is fun and ergonomic.
The toy is a G-spot vibrator, and it knows how to hit that spot perfectly!
So yes, I’d recommend the Lush 3 over the Flexer. It’s more ergonomic, quieter, and more comfortable.

Lush 3 vs Ferri
I’ve yet to do a full article on this topic, but I will update this post when I compare the two. However, both are a little different.
The Ferri is a pure panty vibrator, including a magnetic cap to keep it secure. Meanwhile, the Lush 3 is a G-spot vibrator.
Both are designed to hit your delicate spots, but which is better depends on taste. I feel like I’ll like the Lush 3 a little better, but these are two GOATs.
Other Similar Lovense Products
Now, let’s look at some products you may wish to check out if you like the Flexer or Ferri, but don’t want to buy them.
Nora
The Nora is a rabbit vibrator. It’s a vibrating dildo that has a clitoral stimulator attached to it.
Think Jessica Rabbit and similar products. Chances are, you’ve seen a rabbit vibrator, or even own one.
It’s an old favorite, but with a Bluetooth twist!

Gravity
The Lovense Gravity is a thrusting dildo. These dildos give you the experience of riding someone, but you’re by yourself!
You can adjust the speed of the thrusts, letting you reach orgasm at your own pace!

Dolce
The Dolce is a dual vibrator that’s entirely adjustable! Just turn the handle, and you can fit it inside of you quite easily!
It’s not perfect; it could have more adjustment options, but it’s still a great little vibrator.

The Verdict
I’ve compared the Flexer to many other Lovense toys on this list, and so far, the Flexer hasn’t had any W’s. It’s not my bias; I actually want this thing to win. But Lovense’s other toys do it a lot better.
The Flexer needs a lot of work. The “Come hither” motion can feel oh so uncomfortable, which you don’t want to see in any toy! Also, it’s way too loud and doesn’t fit inside of you.
I admit that the Flexer has more variety, but I’d rather have a toy that does one thing really well than a toy that does multiple things poorly.
The Ferri fits perfectly in my panties and has enough power to make me melt. Your mileage may vary on its power, but for me, it’s enough.
And it’s quiet enough to wear it on a date with my boyfriend, and no one will notice!
So yes, if I had to choose between them, I’d go with the Ferri any day of the week.
The Flexer is a product that may eventually be good through different incarnations, but as it stands now, I could not recommend it unless you gotta collect ‘em all!
