Another website that is often promoted on my site is Shevibe. You’ve probably seen links to their website when I write blogs that list recommended sex toys.
But who are they? Are they to be trusted?
Spoiler: Yes. They’ve been around for many years and have many satisfied customers. But you should always check their policies and goods before you shop!
Let’s examine Shevibe’s background, whether they’re discreet, and whether they have positive customer reviews.

Who Are Shevibe and Are They Legit?
Shevibe was founded in 2006, meaning they have nearly 20 years of experience. Also, saying “Nearly 20 years” next to “2006” makes me crumble into dust.
The founders were Sandra Bruce and Thor Mikelic, a husband and wife duo. Other founders include Alex Kotkin and Keith Beresnoy, both of whom work in art and design.
Kotkin was a Marvel illustrator, and it shows.
The website has a comic book aesthetic, giving it a colorful feel, unlike the seediness you’d expect from an adult shop.
Shevibe’s main focus is its artwork and female-friendly marketing.
It was founded just a few years after Lovehoney, another website that also focused on creating a sex toy shop that men, women, and those in between could enjoy.
Who Are The Owners of Shevibe?
Unlike Lovehoney, Shevibe appears to still be under the watchful eyes of its original founders.
For example, a LinkedIn page reveals that Sanda Bruce is the company’s president. This fact makes it different from Lovehoney, whose founders sold the company to someone else.
While I don’t think the quality of Lovehoney has necessarily gone down, it’s nice seeing Shevibe still under the watchful eyes of the people who founded it all those years ago.
Does Shevibe Sell Quality Sex Toys?
Yes, Shevibe sells quality sex toys made from body-safe materials. They also sell several types of toys for different types of pleasure, be it for male or female orgasms.
Besides toys, they also sell books and games, making for a fun night with your friends. Also, bath products, fetish gear, and other goodies await you.
One thing I love is their adult coloring books that use their art. And by adult coloring books, I mean adult.
Like they sell a book where one of the pages is two women with giant penises playing with each other on the beach.
It’s not exactly a book I could color while on the plane, but I still want it.
That being said, while Shevibe ensures that every product is made with the utmost quality, your mileage may vary.
Every product has an option for customer reviews, so you can see what the customers feel about it.
And you should read the reviews carefully. I’ll tell you why in a minute.
Pricing and Value for Money: Are The Prices Fair?
The prices can vary depending on what product you purchase. Some vibrators will be under $50 and balance value by providing you with a quality product.
Meanwhile, other toys will cost a couple of hundred dollars.
So, I believe there’s something for all budgets here, but I don’t know how much is sitting in your bank account, so you may feel a little differently.
But I think for your average person, the prices are fair enough. I should mention that Shevibe also offers free shipping.
Normally, shipping costs around $8 if you live in the US, which is a little costly. But if you spend $68 or more, you get free shipping.
Why $68 and not $69 is a mystery for another day. This is one of the few cases where I want to pay an extra dollar!
Does Shevibe Have Discounts?
Yes, Shevibe often has discounts. If you visit the site, you should see a pop-up for 10% off your first order, and there is free shipping for orders over $68 I mentioned.
There’s also a clearance page, meaning you can get toys for much less than the original price.
Like other sites, they also have sales periodically, such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, along with flash sales that will pop up when you least expect it.
I’d recommend signing up for their mailing list to be the first to learn about any sales.
This way, you can be the first to know about their sales and buy a product you’ve been eyeing before it sells out.
User Experience: Navigating the Website
The site is pretty easy to navigate. At the top, you’ll see all the categories they sell, which expand into subcategories.
This way, you can find the right products for the job. The front page also gives you what’s new, the latest blog posts, and more.
I don’t know what else to say; let’s just say it’s a modern internet store. There is no clutter or anything confusing.
My only complaint is the pop-ups. You know, you’re scrolling down, and then a pop-up appears that asks if you want 10% off.
Like, yes, I do, but it’s so annoying having to deal with those, even though it is a law that sites have to have at least one of those, even mine 🙂.
Payment Methods, Returns, and Refunds At Shevibe
I love sites that offer several payment options. It’s so much easier to log into PayPal than to dig through my purse, find my credit card, punch in the numbers, and stash the card away.
Well, I’m in luck, and so are you. In addition to major credit and debit cards, Shevibe accepts Shop Pay, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Google Pay, and Venmo.
In particular, I love PayPal, as it gives me the option to pay in four payments without interest or pay using their credit option, which gives me no interest if I pay it off within the next six months.
What about the return and refund policy?
Adult stores are not known for being generous with their refunds since, you know, it’s an adult product.
However, after seeing Lovehoney’s return policy, including a 100-day money-back promise, I was a little disappointed in Shevibe.
Shevibe is old-school. There are no returns or refunds, even if you haven’t opened the box. Come on! I get that Lovehoney is much bigger, but you’d think they have something.
Instead, it says that if you’re not satisfied, their product specialists will help you find a better fit for your next purchase. That’s nice of them.
But if I spend $50 or more on a dildo and it turns out to be a giant paperweight, I’m not exactly thrilled to whip out my wallet again.
That being said, I’ve been satisfied with all of my purchases and have not had to feel the sting of this.
But I should probably tell you so that you shop carefully. Don’t buy something that you can’t handle. Read the dimensions, materials, and reviews carefully.
Does Shevibe Have Discreet Packaging?
Like Lovehoney, Shevibe’s packaging is discreet. You’ll receive your goods in a plain brown box or other discreet packaging.
The seller’s name will be from a vague name, such as Joe Bookman, and the shipping label is generic and has no branding on it.
This way, your package doesn’t fall into the hands of someone who may be less than thrilled that you’re ordering sex toys.
You know, if you still live with Mom and Dad, or you were forced to room with a college roommate who is still shaking off her puritanic upbringing.
Does Shevibe Have Discreet Billing?
How about looking at your bank transactions or payments through PayPal or other payment processors?
For most payment processors, it will appear as “SV INC” or some other variant. Abbreviating the name is a nice choice, as without knowing the context, it sounds like a boring company.
If you use Amazon, you may see it charged as “Shevibe.” This is due to an error, and they’re working to resolve it.
I haven’t tested it out yet, so I don’t know if it ever got fixed. But if you are using Amazon Pay, be sure that only you or someone you trust has access to the account.
Customer Experiences and Reviews
So, what are the customers saying? Each product has its customer reviews, but I wanted to see what customers think of the website as a whole. For that, we go to our trusty Trustpilot.
Shevibe currently has a 4.6 out of 5-star rating. Most reviewers are satisfied with the quality of products, customer service, and fast shipping.
A minority of people received the wrong product, claimed that they never got their order, or had another issue.
However, on the Trustpilot page, Shevibe did a great job responding to every review.
The reviews looked like they were written by people and not a canned or AI-generated response, which is nice.
Speaking of AI, I did want to address a minor controversy. As mentioned on their About page, Shevibe has started using AI-generated imagery on their website.
Shevibe’s AI is being trained from their art only, so they are not stealing art from other people, which is a good thing.
However, some people have a zero-tolerance policy for that kind of thing.
In general, most of the art doesn’t look AI-ish, but some does. For example, there’s a pop-up that says “Do you want 10% off” and shows a purple-haired woman sitting on and surrounded by a bunch of marble things.
And it looks pretty AI. I don’t know why they bothered giving these characters tattoos, as AI struggles with those.
I’m struggling to make out what any of the tattoos are supposed to be, and my brain turns into spaghetti in the process!
Another example is their clearance page, which shows a bald, bearded man. This man once again has nonsensical tattoos, and maybe it’s a perspective thing, but his hand looks like it only has four digits on it.
And these are supposed to be realistic human depictions, not Mickey Mouse hands!
Again, it’s not a dealbreaker, especially since they’re not using other people’s art, but AI still has that uncanny valley feeling, no matter how good it gets.
Pros & Cons Of Shopping At Shevibe
So, with that said, let’s look at the pros and cons.
Pros
- A good variety of toys, fetish gear, and other novelty products.
- Prices can be affordable, with discounts and the possibility of free shipping.
- Plenty of payment methods and shipping methods to choose from.
- Colorful, fun imagery that proves not all sex shops have to be seedy.
Cons
- The return policy is lacking.
- Some may not like the AI images they use.
