This week, I’m comparing a Lovense favorite against a We-Vibe product. I’m looking at the Lush 3 and the Jive 2, two excellent egg vibrators.
Which is the better vibrator for your buck? Which one hits your pleasure zones perfectly?
Honestly, without spoiling too much, both products are fantastic and the differences are minor, but some of them matter.
For example, one toy has a much longer battery life, while another is a little quieter. Both toys have fantastic app support, but one does it better.
I’ll be giving both products an overview and then comparing their features.
I’m just as excited as you are to look at these (well, maybe I’m a little more excited since I’m actually trying them) so let’s begin.

Brief Overview of the Lush 3
The Lush 3 is an egg vibrator designed to hit your G-spot. As you may have figured out from the name, this is the third model, so it’s had plenty of time to perfect its features.
It’s a rumbly egg vibrator that’s designed for comfort. Like most Lovense toys, this toy also comes with Bluetooth support, allowing you to control it through the Lovense Remote app.

Brief Overview of the We-Vibe Jive 2
The We-Vibe Jive 2 is also an egg vibrator, and its design is very similar to the Lovense Lush 3.
Like the Lush 3, you can control it through an app.
It also comes with a remote if you don’t want to use an app or don’t have access to it.

What Are the Similarities and Differences Between the Lush 3 and the We-Vibe Jive 2?
Both toys are very similar. To the naked eye, you may confuse one for the other. Both are pink egg vibrators with a similar shape and features.
But if you’re a seasoned toy reviewer like me, you start noticing the differences.
These differences are important in helping to answer the question of “Which is better?” So let’s compare and contrast some of their features.
Vibration Levels
The Lush 3 and the Jive 2 are both vibrators. So I feel like the first place to start would be to look at how they vibrate.
Not all vibrators are created equally.
Some offer rumblier vibrations, while others are buzzy. Others have more options to control the intensity.
So, how do both of these compare?
Both toys deliver strong, rumbly vibrations, but there are some differences.
And these differences will make you prefer one or the other, depending on how sensitive you are down there.
The Jive 2 has a rumblier vibration, but not as strong vibes as the Lush 3. However, the Jive 2 can reach lower vibrations, which is good if you’re a momentum kind of person.
If you like to get into the action, you may choose the Lush 3.
But honestly, the Jive 2 can hit your G-spot just right. It’s a hard decision, but I liked the Jive 2 a little more.
The rumbliness is that chef’s kiss, and I liked the build-up to the big “O” better.

Noise Level
If you like public play or live with family or nosy roommates, noise levels are important.
Both are pretty quiet and if you’re wearing it in a public area with plenty of chatter, you need not worry.
But what about rooms where there is little ambient noise? This is where the Lush 3 can be a little problematic.
While quiet, you can still hear the Lush 3 when you’re in a silent area.
Because the Jive 2 has the option for weaker vibrations, you can therefore wear it in a quiet place without worrying about anyone hearing it.
I’m not a huge public play gal, but I sometimes get the itch. And with the Jive 2, I felt much safer.
With some of the Lush 3’s sounds, I felt that I was getting weird stares. So there’s one clear winner here.

Design and Comfort
An ergonomic design and comfortable feeling is a vital feature for any toy. If a toy doesn’t feel comfortable, how are you going to reach orgasm?
Okay, there are some people who like a little pain with pleasure, but not me. I’m a sensitive gal.
So, which toy has it better?
Honestly, both toys nail it in the ergonomic design department. As for comfort, it depends on what you seek.
The Jive 2 is slightly less girthy. If you don’t like feeling “full,” or you have a tight one, you may want to avoid the Lush 3.
But if you like feeling stuffed, then the Lush 3 is for you. Honestly, it’s a matter of taste.
When testing it, there were some times when I found the Jive 2 more comfortable, and other times when I felt like it wasn’t giving me enough.
Therefore, I’m going to give this one a tie.

Battery Life
Imagine running in a marathon, and as soon as you’re about to reach the finish line, you trip. That’s how it feels when you’re about to reach orgasm, then the battery dies.
So, which toy is better at avoiding that terrible disappointment?
Well, it all depends on your settings and many other factors. But on average, you’re going to get about 3-5 hours of battery life with the Lush 3, while the Jive 2 gets about 1.5-2 hours.
This is when you choose medium to high settings. So yeah, the Lush 3 wins by a country mile.
The Jive does have enough to get the job done. But you need to charge it more frequently to avoid disappointment.
Also, if you’re someone who can cum for a good while, the battery life makes all the difference.
That said, I’d always recommend charging your toys to full battery life regardless.

App Features
The modern age is technologically impressive. Okay, we don’t live in a world with flying cars, but go back 20 years and tell someone that in the future, you can control sex toys from across the world with your cell phone.
People would think you were crazy. But this is the modern age! So, do both toys give you this option?
Both toys use an app, and both have similar features. You can have a partner control the toy from short or long distance.
The long-distance features come with texting, video chat, and much more. Both let you create patterns and sync music to your vibrations.
But Lovense has the app in the bag. In my opinion, the app feels much more intuitive and offers slightly better features.
For instance, when creating patterns, you can feel the vibes as they go.
The Lovense app also allows you to discover other people’s patterns. Also, I found the Lovense app more reliable than the We-Vibe.
We-Vibe’s app tended to unsync at times, which was hella annoying.

Multiple Partners Access
What if you’re poly, or you’re into casual flings? In this case, multiple partners may want to control your toy.
The Lovense app lets you save multiple partners. Meanwhile, the We-Vibe app only lets you choose one.
It feels like We-Vibe is more into that monogamous lifestyle. Which is valid. But let the folks who have multiple partners have fun as well!

Public Play and Discreteness
If you want to reach an orgasm when in public, you need a discreet toy. Both toys work well in this regard.
They can fit inside of you comfortably while being quiet enough. Also, both toys have the ability to be controlled by a mobile device.
It’s much more discreet if a partner has a phone as opposed to a strange looking remote.
But the Jive 2 edges out the Lush 3 slightly in this regard due to it having quieter options, as we discussed.
Also, the Jive 2 is a little thinner. Which doesn’t matter a whole lot, but this does mean you can transport it easier. If you have a packed bag, a girthy toy may be what makes or breaks you.

Packaging
They say not to judge a book by its cover. That being said, you can definitely judge a toy by its packaging!
So, which is better?
Both toys are similar in packaging. When you order these toys online, you’ll receive them in a plain brown box.
The sender’s name will be vague, too. Inside the brown box is the official packaging.
Both contain the toy, the charger, a manual, and a storage bag. With the We-Vibe Jive, you also get a remote. So it’s about the same.
Winner: Tie
Cost
Your budget is one of the ultimate deciding factors when choosing a toy to buy. One toy may have all the preferred features in the world, but you’re not about to max out your credit cards for it.
Now, the costs depend on sales and what stores you buy them from. And they can fluctuate. This pricing information comes from each toy’s official page as of September 2024.
However, I will be updating this article.
The Lush 3 goes for $119, and the Jive 2 goes for $129.This pricing is before any taxes or possible shipping costs.
So the price difference isn’t much at all. If you have the budget to afford either of these toys, ten bucks isn’t going to be too much of a difference.
Still, there is an objective winner here. Some people have financial situations where that $10 can be all the difference.

Who Should Buy the Lovense Lush 3?
Both of these toys have their pros and cons, and it’s hard for me to recommend one over the other. It’s all down to preference.
However, there are some cases where someone may prefer the Lush 3 over the Jive 2.
Reasons include:
- You want some strong vibrations. Like really strong.
- You like a girthy toy that makes you feel full.
- An app that has strong connectivity and plenty of features is a priority.
- Having a toy that can get up to 3 hours of battery life is an absolute!
- You want the slightly more affordable option.
Meanwhile, you should not buy the Lush 3 if you want quieter, weaker vibrations. You should also avoid them if you want something thinner.
Who Should Buy the We-Vibe Jive 2?
On the other hand, there are plenty of valid reasons as to why you would want the We-Vibe Jive 2.
Let’s look at some of them:
- You like rumblier vibrations that you can build up to.
- If you like a skinnier toy over something girthy, then this toy is a must!
- You want to play in quiet public areas.
- Using a manual remote is a must.
- You prefer more preset options.
If you dislike toys with shorter battery life and you don’t like them skinny, you may want to avoid the We-Vibe Jive 2.
Final Thoughts and My Opinion
As you can see, both toys have something magical to offer, but as they say, there can only be one!
The Lush 3 is my personal favorite, and it’s all about preferences. I love feeling full, love a toy that lasts a long time, and I love the creativity the app can bring.
The Jive 2 does not trail far behind, don’t get me wrong. It’s fantastic in other areas. But most people aren’t going to buy both due to the costs and having too many similarities.
So, if I had to pick one, I’d choose the Lush 3.
